Newsletter from the Director Oct-2023 / Carta de la Directora Oct-2023

Dear AIS Community,

We had a very good time during the 202 Years of Independence Assembly, we thank the families who joined this celebration.

We wish all the best to the AIS teams that are participating in national competitions this month: the ACEP Volleyball Tournament and the CRI-MUN (Model United Nations Conference in Costa Rica).

The NHS Team will be working with the students and teachers of Project Goal 22 for the implementation of the Soccer School in Roble Alto. This is a new part of our social service to this organization, that provides support to children and adolescents at social risk.

We will have an OPEN HOUSE event for families who wish to enroll their children in our school next semester, the session will be held this Thursday, October 5th at 6pm, on campus. For more information, send a WhatsApp message to 7070-0733. Invite your friends!

The MEP National Standardized Tests(Diagnostic Version) for grades 6 and 12 in US Calendar Schools(like us), are scheduled in October and November. The specific dates and instructions for each test have not been received yet. We will be sharing relevant information with families in these grade levels as soon as we have access to it.

Finally, we invite you to share the sporting, artistic and academic achievements of our students outside of school, so that we can congratulate them on social media. Send your photos and details of the events to marketing@ais.ed.cr
