Newsletter from the Director May-2023 / Carta de la Directora Mayo-2023

Dear AIS Community,

We thank the families who donated groceries and personal care items for the Belén Palliative Care Center. We remind you that this is a permanent social aid program coordinated by the NHS students, your donations are received throughout the entire year and a large delivery is made every semester.

We congratulate the teams that represented us in the AASCA Entrepreneurship and Sportsmanship Tournaments. Special mention to our seniors Susana Barrantes and Montserrat Rubio for obtaining 3rd place in the business competition with their healthy food venture. AIS also participated with projects to manufacture bar shampoo, biodegradable containers and makeup made with organic ingredients. Thanks to Ms Gabriela Murillo for conducting these projects. We invite parents who wish to support the development and marketing of these products to contact your Principal in order to connect with our students.

We remind you of the Ordinary Assembly of Associates, immediately after it, an Extraordinary Assembly will be held with the intention of implementing revisions to the association’s bylaws.

We invite you to the annual AIS EXTRAVAGANZA 2023, which this year will be a night of art and music, this is an adults-only event. Your donations (food and items for silent auction) are also welcome, the funds raised will go towards the Art Class.

The invitation is also open for the AIS GYMNASTICS TOURNAMENT 2023, which for the 13th consecutive year will take place in our gym. This event hosts young athletes from elementary schools and gymnastics academies from all over the country.
