Dear AIS Community,

Our gratitude goes out to the families that donated school supplies for the indigenous communities in Talamanca, our goal of 150 packages was surpassed, so we were able to help students in the surrounding areas too. We also thank you for your cooperation with the Toy Ride conducted by the Enrichment Class, the toys were donated to Hogar Posada de la Luna. We continue to support Hogar
Cuidados Paliativos Belén as part of the NHS programs, your donations are greatly appreciated.

Our Annual Family Day 2023 registered a record attendance of 350 guests. Great job from the PTO!

Upper Elementary and Middle School students had an amazing time in Space Camp. We thank Ms Dylana and Mr Marco for chaperoning the group during their one-week trip to Alabama.

The 1st AIS MUN Conference was a great success, we have received beautiful thank you notes from the participating schools. The event was organized by the MUN Team lead by Mr Julio, Ms Fiorella and AIS MUN Secretary-General, Camila Richmond. We also thank 6th grade, Stuko, NHS and Senior students who acted as pages and supporting staff during these two days.

We welcome the new members of our teaching staff and we invite you to reach out to get to know them better:

  • Ms Pamela Campos , Homeroom Teacher Toddlers.
  • Mr Jorge Bravo , Math Teacher starting March 6th.

Best wishes for the team attending the Qatar Global Innovation Summit 2023. Our students Natalie Revaz and Ian Salazar, and Ms Gabriela Murillo, will be traveling to Qatar to present AIS Environmental Responsibility Program in the summit. Our students will also do a TED Talk as part of the event. Go falcons!

School Camps in Elementary and Secondary school are coming next month. Contact your Homeroom Teachers if you wish to attend.

The 6th Grade Class invites you to donate food and join the celebration of our Annual International Luncheon on Wednesday, March 8th. Remember to wear your country’s national costume or flag colors to join the Nations Parade. Tickets are available for sale.
