Each of our four levels in early childhood provide our students with a loving and caring environment that offers age-appropriate programs, resources, and activities. This results in our youngest children feeling welcomed, confident, and independent!
Every morning we begin the day with stories, rhymes, and songs followed by a variety of hands-on activities that promote concept acquisition and socio-emotional growth. We offer three levels in this section of our school: Toddlers (2 years old in August), Preschool (3 years old in August), Pre-K (4 years old in August) and Kindergarten (5 years old in August).
We offer a U.S. curriculum aligned with AERO standards in our four subject areas: Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Our programs guide students through a variety of hands-on activities that foster their creativity, imagination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Also starting in Kindergarten, the students work in project-based learning activities focusing in New Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
As part of our early childhood routines, students receive two programs that supplement their robust curriculum: Robotics and Touched by Nature.
The Robotics classes are designed to develop skills based in the STEAM education model (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Through the Touched by Nature class, children learn academic as well as emotional skills by playing with trained dogs that visit their classroom on a weekly basis. What a fun way to learn!
