Dear AIS Community,
Welcome to Civic Month! You are cordially invited to join the Independence Day celebration on Friday,
September 11th. Details of the activities can be found in the box below. This is an event for the whole family;
take the opportunity to wear traditional costumes or the colors of the Central American flags.
Last month, for eight consecutive years, AIS participated in the Annual Country Earthquake Drill in Costa
Rica. We encourage you to continue the conversation at home and create your action plan in case of an
emergency.
We wish great success to the High School teams that will represent us in the Mathematics Olympiad, the
Model United Nations International Conference CRIMUN, and the ACTION Basketball Tournament. We also
extend our best wishes to the staff members who will be presenting at the Annual Conference of American
Schools of Latin America (TriCon-2026) Go Falcons!
