Dear AIS Community,
It was a great joy to celebrate together the Thanksgiving Luncheon and the Christmas Show, our gratitude goes out to the participants and hosts of these two events.
The AASCA Arts Festival was a great experience for our students and Ms. Gloria. As part of the event, they had the unique opportunity to attend a master class taught by J. Schwartz, Disney Illustrator. Their paintings will be on display at school in December 2022.
We remind you of the NHS campaign entitled “Let’s write my name together” to help the children of Hogar Roble Alto. This Christmas instead of donating new toys, we will collaborate with donations of USD$30 (thirty dollars). With each donation of $30, reading and writing lessons are paid for an adolescent who has not yet learned to read and write (there are 45 young people in this condition). We
know that providing them with these skills will help them in their job search plan and in their life in general. To collaborate, you only have to complete the transfer to Sinpe Móvil number 7006-2578 with the description AIS-Lecto-escrit.
We also urge our families who are discarding used toys (which are still in good shape) to bring them to school and participate in the project organized by students from the Enrichment Program. The idea is to donate these toys to low-income families and schools.
Tuesday December 7th we will have the “Hour of Code” technological event, where our students will be able to connect with students from other countries to work in sync for a full hour. Please follow the instructions provided by Ms. Eve in her message sent by Seduca.
