Dear AIS Community,
We end the month of March with a recount of events that leave us with great joy: we congratulate the Basketball Team that represented us in the AASCA 2022 Tournament, we thank the 6th Grade Class for organizing the International Luncheon, which began with an emotional Assembly with the collaboration of the Literature Dept in Secondary, we really enjoyed the Bingo Night sponsored by 12th grade, the Students vs. Parents Soccer Game and the Annual Spelling Bee in Elementary.
We also appreciate the visit of the Wood and Wind Ensemble of the National Symphony Orchestra. What an honor to be able to listen to them live at our school! We congratulate its musicians (especially our Professor Barrantes) for the designation received by the Orchestra in recent days, being named “Benemérita de la Cultura Costarricense”.
The Costa Rican Ministry of Education (MEP) confirmed the dates for FARO Tests (mandatory tests), as follows:
– To students who are currently in 5th grade, the tests will be applied from June 15 to June 17, 2022.
– For students in 11th grade, the tests will be held from June 29 to July 1, 2022.
The Principals are convening an online session for parents of these grades, the meeting will be on Thursday, April 07 at 6:30pm, the Zoom link will be sent to them through Seduca.
Our best wishes for great success to the student Julian Navarro, who will represent AIS in the 2022 AASCA Swimming Tournament. Go Falcon!
