Events in March

AIS Flags

 Dear AIS Community,

The successful return to classes in the Hybrid Mode enables us to eliminate the face-to-face rotation for all grades as of March-2021, as reported by our Principals in their letters this month. I thank everyone (students, staff, and parents) for their commitment to abiding by the Protocols that allow us to welcome our students back on campus.

I remind families who need Transportation Service that, to provide a solution, it is imperative that you complete the form that was emailed a few weeks ago.

The school is evaluating an Electronic Messaging System to directly inform parents of important events and emergencies. I ask you to please log onto Seduca and verify that your contact information (cell phone and email address) is correct. If you need to update it, please send an email to Ms. María González as soon as possible. I clarify that this system will not allow other users to have access to your personal information, as the messages would be sent individually.

As you read in the letters from the Principals, the Ministry of Education has confirmed that our 6th and 12th graders graduating in June-2021 will not take the FARO Tests this year. However, MEP has scheduled those assessments for 5th and 11th grade students. Ms. Marjorie and Mr. Guevara will provide more details regarding this topic, please be attentive to their messages and the meetings that will be arranged.

congratulate our Seniors, who have been admitted (and granted scholarships) in various universities, these good news come to us from: University of Calgary, Trent University, University of Victoria, Concordia University, Acadia University, Thompson River University, Ryerson University, The College of Wooster, and Minot State University. In addition to these, we are still waiting for responses from other colleges, we will keep you informed.
